In Rainbows is probably their only album I actively love.

'I Promise' played for the first time since '96 tonight in Amsterdam. Hopefully this means Lift & Man of War live are imminent..

"Okay, we're gonna try this one. This is called 'I Promise' - which basically we haven't played for 20 years, it's been 20 years since OK Computer came out. Normally, I don't think we're the sort of people who look back, but it was interesting when we did. We were a bunch of nutters we were - we probably still are - one of the craziest things we did was not release this song.. because we didn't think it was good enough."

Thom sounded great, but let's be honest -- it's kind of a boring song live in front of 20,000 people.

I always kinda wondered what was going on "beneath" the music in this song, but don't know enough about music to figure it out on my own.

Since it is always changing (except for the #1 & #9 spot) I like to revisit my list a couple times a year. Current rankings of my favorite (not how I would rank them as objectively 'best')

1. OK Computer
2. Kid A
3. The Bends
4. Amnesiac
5. In Rainbows
6. A Moon Shaped Pool (^ these two are in an essential tie for 5th right now)
7. Hail To The Thief
8. King Of Limbs
9. Pablo Honey

I watch this Warren dudes guitar tutorials for Radiohead songs often. They are really good

Just learned There, There this week following his video. The Sail to the Moon is great as well

yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say thanks. This is awesome. I wouldn't have 1/2 the Radiohead music I listen to if it wasn't for this thread.
