what if Jill Stein was on it with a lifetime pass for free Fenway area parking and a guide to all the best bars within walking distance to Fenway?

"Corduroy" is produced terribly and sounds like shit on record, and because of it, the whole song feels like a missed opportunity.

You need to go away by yourself for a long long time and think about what you did.

The way the opening guitar riff after the intro only comes out of one speaker is a crime against humanity.

Your unpopular opinion is a crime against humanity. Stalin reads this and says, "Too far."

I adore the studio version. Is prefect...its a mix between garage rock and grunge. Its so beautiful.

I actually love Lightning Bolt. The albums' story and flow of songs mirrored the year 2013 for me. I'll tell that story one day. I do enjoy it better live, though.

Did you get plastic surgery and hair plugs in 2013?
No. The stuff going on in my personal life mirrored a lot of the record. After a car accident and a miscarriage there was some upheaval going on with my wife and I and my relationship with my biological family has never been ideal. I always took the song LB to be about Mother Nature being able to scrape you off of her shoe in an instant. A cross country trip and driving through some INTENSE storms comes to mind. Needless to say, with Future Days closing the album, everything worked out with my wife and I. The family stuff didn't get resolved, but not for lack of trying on my part.
ETA: Listening to the bootlegs from that year and hearing Ed say what a tough year it was relieved me somewhat to know that I wasn't alone in my struggles. Charlottesville was a cathartic experience. Our finances were jacked because of medical expenses, so going to more shows took a back seat to priorities like mortgage payments. We also had one of our cats almost die and needed surgery and an in hospital stay. We have 3 and they're like our children.
