Fans sitting on good recordings seems petty to me.
How many unsurfaced high quality SG recordings would you guess are are out there?
And does the band itself presumably have recordings of most of their shows, including some of the really early ones? Hearing something like a soundboard version of Incessant Mace from 85 or 86 would be pretty sweet.

I'd definitely be interested in a King Animal era live album (hopefully it sounds better than the last one).

The Twitter pic is completely different. It doesn't scream live album cover to me.

Was Twitter the one with the eye surrounded by a live audience? That's what is on FB it screams live album to me.

I think 4 images have been posted. I did not see the one you mentioned. One has a tree, another has a skull and I can't remember the other.

I think it's the B-sides album, which will include live material. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. They didn't record a lot of shows back in the day but I'm sure they have some shows. I'm waiting until they actually announce it, which I suppose will be tomorrow.

All signs point to B-sides but I've been on that hook long enough to not get my hopes up.

Is this the song they recorded with Jack Endino a few months back? I like the recording/mixing quality much more than King Animal, Matt's drums sound great.

I think so. And yeah, I'd agree with that assessment.

Looks like there was a song by this title on their 1985 demo -- is this a reworking of that?

I've only had one listen on my phone so the audio wasn't great, but the song definitely sounded cool. Even with the crappy stream from my phone, I agree the mix is way better than anything on KA. Hopefully more details today cause this is promising.

Really good. Love it...i like how gloomy it sounds and cornell is great. This has to be that endino track kim hinted a few months ago.
So minds of steel is their b sides comp....

Awesome I'm glad I'm wrong. Not that I wouldn't take another live album but we've been waiting on this B-side album forever!
