Imagine if "The Road" was cast with, say, Hayden Christensen or Steven Segal. Then, you would have one of the greatest stories of our time made into a movie that wasn't great.

Also, Bill & Ted's excellent adventure and Gleaming the Cube are two movies off the top of my head that were horrible stories but the movies were great.

I would want to kill myself after seeing this version. Much like after seeing the original, but for different reasons, so I guess yeah it would still be great.
