Awesome to see escavado. Also loved nels and isbell trading licks. Fantastic

I remember when Tweedy wrote memorable melodies. sigh

I thought Ode to Joy was a lot more memorable than some of Wilco's other more recent records (though I love Star Wars too. And his most recent solo album has some exceptional songs.

I'm about to see four nights of Wilco in Cancun if the Sky Blue Sky event isn't cancelled by a week from now. Feels weird that it's still happening.

I'm a weirdo, but If I Ever Was a Child is one of my favorite Wilco songs.

It never landed with me, but I sat down with it a month or two ago and it was a lot better than I'd remembered. I think why it didn't register at first was at that the time I felt it sounded too much like Tweedy's solo albums, but I'm not sure I feel the same way now.

Love is the King was excellent I thought. Would almost rather see his Tweedy band now. Almost :)

Honestly, The Whole Love is the only one I think feels kind of phones in at times
The Whole Love loses me after the first third, but there's some interesting stuff on that album. I think it's the only Wilco album I missed when it was originally released. Kind of rediscovered Wilco when Star Wars came out and then eventually got around to TWL. Phoning it in at times is a good way to put it.

I’ve still never listened to Jeff’s solo albums. Just don’t feel the urge.
