It's the right move for a lot of reasons (even the primary one which is clearly to keep people from buying a months subscription and cancelling before paying for a second month).Strat wrote:Disney+ reveals no binge watching for streamers! Will be releasing episodes on a weekly basis.

"To some degree" is a key phrase.dimejinky99 wrote:Kenobi series is perfectly placed to have characters from the prequels like Ahsoka and qui gon appear. And Yoda and Luke going the other way.
We want to see those elements brought in. Silly to think they won’t to some degree
If you like it, then watch one episode per week.Strat wrote:I miss the days of devouring reviews and articles after each episode. I like binging. I'm an adult. I can choose how to watch a TV show for my own damned self.

He’s more machine no than man.
How does kenobi know that
And your comparison is incorrect. There actually IS dialogue to support Obi-Wan and Vader not meeting. I was asking if Maul and Obi-Wan have met between TPM or Clone Wars and that episode of Rebels.
Unless kenobi can sense him in the force, as far as kenobi knows, Anakin is dead. Which he can’t cos Vader would sense him back. See the hangar bay in anh
Right there is your door to Ahsoka turning up and telling Kenobi Anakin is Vader and she faced him (rebels) and he’s alive.
This doubles down on obi wan having to protect Luke.
This whole series could be Vader obsessed with hunting down obi wan. He knows he’s out there. He just doesn’t know where. Last place he’d look? Planet Anakin grew up on
Thank you for answering. Is there anything in that Rebels episode to indicate they haven’t met since the CW episode? If not, then depending on the timeline, Maul could actually be in this. They need to use him somewhere since after that scene in Solo.durdencommatyler wrote:They 100% meet in The Clone Wars. Maul does some devastating shit.wease wrote:Question:

There is 0 indication whatsoever that they met again between that final meeting in TCW and their fight in Rebels.
Me too. The binge can be fun, too. But I prefer the weekly pour.Strat wrote:I miss the days of devouring reviews and articles after each episode. No. ESB did that almost 40 years ago.B wrote:- I mean shit, the prequels basically turned old Obi-Wan into a son-of-a-bitch liar.l
Nothing explicit that I recall but I'd have to look at the exact dialogue. It's IMPLICIT in Maul's obsession. It sure feels like they haven't met since. But again there's a huge time span. If this series is set closer to ROTS than Rebels, then it's certainly possible. But I've also not read the Maul comic, so I'm not sure what concrete canon we have about what he was doing/where he was after Ahsoka defeats him on Mandalore and when we see him again in Solo.wease wrote:Thank you for answering. Kathleen Kennedy said all the scripts are done but no writers named. Even when it was a film, I don't think we had an author named.Strat wrote:Has there even been a director tied to this yet? or writers?
Scripts are already written. Ewan is directing at least a few episodes himselfStrat wrote:Has there even been a director tied to this yet? or writers?
Does the timeline work out for Ahsoka knowing it's Anakin? If this takes place round the time of Solo, then that's a decade or more before ANH which means at least 4 years before Rebels. Which means Ahsoka doesn't know yet, right?dimejinky99 wrote:wease wrote:If this happened without a meeting between the two, I’d be happy as a pig in shit.dimejinky99 wrote:Vader was an unknown quantity within even the upper echelons of the empire and imperial fleet staff. I’d agree. We don’t have to have them meet again. But to have Vader be the threat and Ahsoka turning up to make kenobi aware it’s anakin. And as with maul he can’t tell her why he’s hiding there but she figures it out, and he now knows Vader is looking for him
That story is already far more interesting than obi wan in the desert and sorting out local squabbles between the moisture farmers and protecting them from jabbas henchmen making the rounds for ‘protection money’
