Just saw him a few weeks ago and he sounded great with the original 4-piece Innocent Criminals (Juan Nelson, Leon Mobley, Oliver Charles, and Ben Harper). They played for like 75 mins (split the bill with Trombone Shorty). It included some hits (Steal My Kisses, Burn One Down, Diamonds on the Inside, Better Way), some good deep tracks (The Woman In You), and actually a great Machine Gun that dovetailed into Superstition quite seamlessly. They also had DJ Logic come up and spin through Fight For Your Mind that worked really well.

Ben Harper has sucked for the longest time now. Diamonds on the Inside was the start of the decline and boy howdy, he just kept on going. He's Pearl Jam-esque is his latter life shittery.

That said, I hope you enjoy the show, Rangi.

I still enjoy a lot of Ben's stuff and have rey ally enjoyed his show the other times I've seen him. Plus it's up at The Mount, so might have the opportunity to get in a surf or two, and I get to hang out with family I don't see all that often

Mt. Maunganui? Say no more. I'd see Venga Boys there if it meant some time on the beach.

It's been awhile sine I have seen Pete & Roger but I like the idea of an orchestra backing them. Plus surely this is the last one, right?
Wow, that even better than I expected. Daltrey's managed to keep his voice and the orchestra made the big songs sound even bigger. I'm glad I went.

I wish I went to this. I need more money for concerts.

That was better than any Pearl Jam pun I have seen on this board.

Pineapple Thief. Primarily to watch and listen to Gavin Harrison play drums.

Marcus King Band.

Now that kid's album is pretty much done (only outside mixing left) I hope they start playing more shows.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.
