"Backstreets" is probably one of the best songs ever recorded. That subtle, shimmering bassline at the beginning...oof.

I've never considered the title track to be one of the highlights of DOTEOT, but it's still pretty great. Pretty hard to argue with anything on that album, really.

"Nebraska" is good, of course.

"Independence Day" is beautiful. What is that instrument at the beginning? So haunting.

"You're Missing" is overrated. Not one of my favorites from The Rising. It's not bad, though.

I'd say "Last to Die" is middle-of-the-pack for Magic. But that means it's still totally solid.

Remember how I said it's pretty hard to argue with anything on DOTEOT? Well, "Factory" is the one I might argue with. This song is so "Springsteen" it's almost self-parody.

First time hearing "Save My Love". It's all right. Doesn't really stand out to me.

"Racing in the Street" is good, of course.

"Badlands" is a great song that has always felt lacking to me in its studio incarnation. It feels a bit muted and drained of energy. Max Weinberg has said before that he should have played it faster, and I agree with him.

Love "Jackson Cage". Fantastic song that's bursting with energy. Weinberg definitely played this one properly.

Ugh. Fucking The Wild.... We meet again. Once again, I do not enjoy this album, and "4th of July, Asbury Park" is no exception. The production and arrangement just kill any hope of these songs being enjoyable. I hate this.

"My City of Ruins" is a very solid track.

"Valentine's Day" is middling.

"Sherry Darling" is a blast. Pure energy.

"Brothers Under the Bridge" has some nice lyrics, but the music doesn't really excite me.

"Thunder Road" is definitely a correct first round pick. What do you even say about a song like this?

You have such a weird team; going for a deep cut right away in the second round with "This Hard Land". The song is okay. Very perplexed by your draft strategy here, haha.

"Long Walk Home" is good. Not one of my favorite Magic tracks, but good.

I haven't heard Wrecking Ball, so "Land of Hope and Dreams" is new to me. The intro kinda sounds like Moby. Good song - I dig it.

I love the '80s sound of "Tunnel of Love". One of the few tracks from the album I find memorable.

You really like Wrecking Ball, huh? "Rocky Ground" is...kind of bad. Those "We've been travelin' over rocky ground" vocals are pretty embarrassing. Oh my god, is that rapping?! What the fuck are you doing picking this, man?! This has got to be the worst non-The Wild... song in the draft.

"Take 'em as They Come" is nice. I'd say this is better than some of the songs that actually made The River.

"Devils & Dust" is...fine. A boilerplate (primarily) acoustic track.

Your team is so odd! It's one titan followed by seven (mostly) middling deep cuts. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

"Prove It All Night" is good, but I wouldn't rank it among the best songs from DOTEOT.

"Spirit in the Night" is a classic.

I LOVE "Waitin' on a Sunny Day". So, so much. The way Max purposely messes up a beat after Bruce sings "Without you, I'm a drummer, girl, who can't keep a beat" fills my heart with so much joy.

"My Hometown" is the only subpar track on BITU, IMO.

"Darlington County", while not top tier BITU material, is still great.

I haven't heard D&D. "Long Time Comin'" is okay, but nothing special.

"Galveston Bay" is nice, though it seems like a lesser Nebraska track. I haven't heard TGOTJ, but I hear that's pretty much what the whole album is?

"Jersey Girl" is okay. The way the crowd cheers whenever he references New Jersey makes me want to vomit.

Bugs' team is solid. Another one of my favorites in this whole thing.

LMS and KD were evenly matched. Both have really strong teams. But KD's run from Badlands to My City of Ruins is fucking incredible. But both have really great teams and I found a lot of new stuff in LMS's team that I'd never heard before.
