I have zero issues with the steaks I regularly purchase and enjoy here in Oz. I have no comparison though, so no comment on what's better.

Sandwiches versus Burgers versus Rolls will absolutely be a thing though - sandwiches are made with sliced bread, burgers with a bun, rolls in a bread roll (duh). In all cases. I will however throw my "House Special" with lettuce continental roll from my local Re Store against any roll anywhere else in the world.

I'll absolutely give the US the edge on hot dogs though.

It’s all good cuz I’m excited for the fresher and more abundant seafood, and the wide array of Asian cuisine. Also jelly slice.

Been cleaning up my gas grill for the last couple hours. Such an unpleasant activity.

I gotta go get a new one soon. The bottom of mine is almost completely rusted out.

I wish mine was rusted out so I could trash it instead of clean it. But alas, I sprung for a $500 KitchenAid like 6 years ago and it’s still in great shape.

I think my parents are somehow still free from having gotten Covid, which surprises me given my mum's stance of - 'Well if the Lord deems it's my time to go - then it's my time to go' when it comes to taking precautions. Not really, and I'm mostly sure that if dad gets it it'll take him out as he's getting on a fair bit and is dealing with a hole in his heart which causing him to pass out on occasion

Was in a gas station a bit ago and guy checking out starts ranting, it goes on and on and crazier and crazier. Based on some things he was saying he’s either ex military with bad ptsd or just delusional. He started talking about government killing contracts and shooting a bunch of people. He leaves and I’m thinking whew that was weird glad it’s over. Then like twenty seconds later I’m down one of the aisles and see him walking back in. I could only see his head but thought oh god he went to get a gun from his car. Thanks goodness all he did was shout racist stuff to the foreign worker.

Yeah, I may have spoken too soon. Got a text from dad yesterday saying that mum had been sick in bed all day possibly with Covid...

its great now..the in-laws left and my wife and I didn't have heart attacks or beat them up...

oh, heavens no..her mom is just a woe is me person and the FIL just puts up with it..I leant him a pair of my sweat pants last night and he pee'd in them..
