I’m seriously more pissed about where or when did Palpatine do the quick costume change from black robes, zaps the life force out of Rey and kylo and suddenly has a whoooole new outfit on of crushed red velvet Robes and no glowing Vader like buttons on his chest.

Yeah, it's fair to criticize the content. For sure. I haven't read it myself yet so I'm going to reserve judgement until I do. I happen to like a lot of these ideas out of context. But that could change with execution.
