Well...im talking two different things here:

my own preamp settings in my studio which doesn't apply since it, in part, takes into account the arrangement of the room and sound bouncing off walls, etc.

there there's the dinky little Spotify settings which I shared with stip. maybe he can post that screenshot I emailed him. nothing special. just where I keep my settings in that app, and I think it's a noticeable improvement from their default settings. you can't do this in Apple Music. you're locked into closing one of their defaults.

of course it's somewhat subjective. what sounds great to me could sound eh to you. but...last night was garbage. tin fucking can.
