Man, I feel totally opposite. Only way we win is if this series goes the distance or comes close.

doug, we should probably get a six-pack mail bet going here. Are you up for it? Or at least Jester King/Pliny stakes.

Beat up on Kershaw and Hill and you're in the driver's seat.

I really think this should be a great series. I'll be pulling for Houston, but I think this one is basically a toss up. Both teams are loaded top to bottom. The only edge I'd give either team is LA in the bullpen. So my prediction is probably LA in seven, but I wouldn't be surprised if either team won. No matter who wins the series, I can't see it going less than six games.

Obviously hope I'm wrong, but young team jitters on this stage plus Kershaw pitching at home plus not knowing how long Keuchel can go makes me almost feel like game 1 will be a warm up for the Astros. Agree that if we win game 1, I feel GREAT about game 2 and whatever happens in the Houston series.

I'm going to root for Houston. They have a couple likeable ex-Braves (McCann, Gattis) and way back when Charlie Morton used to work out at my gym.
I know, Alex Wood is a former Brave who's done just fine in LA.

I bet Claudell Washington is rooting for the Dodgers.

Offense may be better in the AL but NL baseball is a lot more fun.
