He is a very refreshing character, exhibiting a raw, heart-on-your-sleeve emotion in a way that we haven't even seen from a SW movie protagonist since Luke in episode IV before he became a sterile Jedi master. This is coming out of a guy that has been behind a mask in a highly structured military organization his entire life. SW has finally humanized a group of "bad guys" we have been watching get indiscriminately beat up on for 35+ years. I dare say Boyega was threatening to steal the screen in almost every scene he was in, even when matched up against the Han Solo.
I mostly just stared at his mouth

I certainly picked up on it, but his overall performance still came out way ahead. Also, he has voluptuous lips.

I agree with anyone who finds the pacing of ROTJ a little off.

Something I didn't really appreciate on the first viewing that I got a kick out of on the second

Han, regarding the size of star killer base: There's always a way to blow it up

I forget the exact line, but a humorous tongue in cheek moment that knew enough to not stop and wink at the audience

Something did appear to have changed between ESB and ROTJ. I'm not sure what it was, but there were many differences.

Is this a sex thing?

Finn's character in TFA and his journey is brilliant. We follow him through feeling abhorrent at Ren and the needless killing, the excitement and pure joy at being free (for him the reality of getting out of the ST suit, for us metaphorically after the prequels. Star Wars is back BABY!), he puts words to us falling in love with Rey and bonding with BB8, Han and Chewie. He is our guide. Rey may be the protagonist but Finn was our guide. Everyone could run and hide, everyone would reasonably consider it but that scene works so well because we are invested in Finn by then.

His unbridled joy, fear, excitement was mine too. Brilliant.

Remember his convo with Snoke?
Snoke testing him and him replying 'he means nothing to me now'
That plus when han said earlier that he always can talk himself outta anything.. foreshadowed this
