Anybody want a Corona?

There is some chatter about administration of the Holy Juice to as many as possible without holding back doses for the second shot. They think effectiveness goes from 95 to 80 but don't seem to know much. It kind of seems moot since tons of people are noping out of taking it and they can't figure out how to get rid of the doses they do have anyway.

I see people posting on FB that it’s a way to track you so they won’t. On FB.

With their cell phones, that can easily track them.

that was my whole point. whether you like it or not, the govt is watching. in probably 99% of the time they do nothing with this information. the 1% that the do it is usually for a credible reason and i for one would be disappointed in our government if they didnt try to prevent something when they could have

I was going to keep quiet on this but here you go

Had my covid test yesterday (simple swab, not the brain toucher kind this one you stick the swab straight in and not up)

Should know my results tomorrow. I’m fairly certain I have it though. Monday started to feel a slight fever, some minor aches and pains, lethargic and a brief cough. So far that’s the extent of my issues (day 4 of symptoms).

Since maybe this has all started I have been very careful going out and interacting in any large groups. If I do go out I have worn a mask. I have stopped at my aunts house once (still wore my mask) and went to one family gathering in September (even though I didn’t want to it was to get over my anxiety from my heart issues)

How did I get it then? My brother had to spend Christmas Eve with his best friends. Day after Christmas their brother in law found out he was positive. So my brother (tested positive)has it and he likely infected me and potentially my step father.

So yea you may think it’s no big deal of you going to do something but you just never know

There's this weird almost religious aspect to the whole mask thing. If this is nutpicking, bring it up with twitter, who made this guy a blue check:

By all means, wear a mask, but how effective is it? Those shitty cotton masks or even worse neck gaiters are probably barely useful, and yet they provide the same sort of absolution as an (un-valved) N-95.
