All Alone vs. Set the Ray to Jerry

Set the Ray to Jerry. It's amazing how many great b-sides the Mellon Collie sessions produced. All Alone is pretty, though

All Alone is really beautiful.

This is hard. All Alone is haunting. Set the Ray to Jerry is so badass you wonder how SP went from having so many banging B-sides to filling entire albums with total crap in such a short time span.

I'm going Jerry, though it's still second to my favorite song about a Jerry, Jerry Was a Race Car Driver.

ohhh fuck. A hard one...STRTJ is such a beautiful gem. But All Alone is a magic song.

Give Set the Ray to Jerry a try. It's the side of the pumpkins that gets a lot less attention than the bombast.

This was my first time hearing Set the Ray to Jerry, and it easily gets my vote here.

I went with All Alone.

I think I actually had a couple of them way back when. I don't remember anything from them though.

you could make an album from the best material that I'd probably rank as the pumpkin's third best record, and way better than a sizable chunk of the Mellon Collie album tracks

Well I plan on listening to every song as we go through this tournament. I look forward to hearing all of them!

This one is surprisingly difficult. I thought I'd for sure go with All Alone, but then I listened to Set the Ray and remembered just how great a song it is. I think I'll wait to vote tomorrow when I can get input from the Frow and the Squid.

It's definitely a standout on Aeroplane. Hints at Adore just as much as 1979 while sounding much more organic than that single. I really like Set the Ray to Jerry.
