Stain's pretty good, but the Crazy Mary studio performance is far beyond it

Crazy Mary is clearly the better song, but it's neither grunge nor it is even PJ's song, so it should have no votes here.

it became grunge by virtue of being released by a grunge band during that period of time

Stain, easily. I've never liked Crazy Mary.

This. Crazy Mary is a genuinely bad song, I'll bet the people who voted for it are actually excited about that stupid new Chicago Cubs Pearl Jam thing.

I disagree... It's a ton of fun to play and sing, so it gets my vote.

IDGAF about the Wrigley shows.

Crazy Mary by a long shot, and I don't even care about Crazy Mary.

PhatJ's recurring dismissal of Bleach is disheartening.

I've never spent much time with Bleach, but I should. When I was a kid, my younger brother's favorite band was Nirvana and he played the ever loving shit out everything. It basically ruined Nirvana for me. I've had no desire to hear most Nirvana since I was about 14. That said, the only Nirvana album he didn't play constantly was Bleach, so I know those songs much less than anything else in their catalog.

I was given a Bleach tape at age 16... 1993... I rolled around listening to it all the time... Didn't have another Nirvana album till after Kurt died. It's near and dear to my :heartbeat:
