Turnaround is not a bad song, but it is going to be rightfully obliterated here

I get why Seasons will (should, probably) win this round, but I've gotta go with Turnaround. I believe that had Nirvana made another album, they would have gone in a more no-wave direction, sort of like a grunge Devo, and I think it would have all sounded a lot like Turnaround. Which is a song that I love, so I'm voting for it.

I've always thought their sound would have veered toward jangly REM and Vaselines territory, personally. Grunge new wave would have been fun, though.

Still, voting for Seasons. It's the better song. Hate to see Turnaround go.

Don't see the appeal of Turnaround, but Seasons is just stellar. Easy vote.

It's a fun song. Different than what we're used to with Nirvana and done well. The drumming in particular is infectious. Faithful cover, but Kurt's guitars can't help but wail and moan throughout the song giving it that Nirvana feel. The spoken word middle is very quotable, too.

Uh, have you guys heard YKYR? Pretty sure their next album would have been way darker and bleaker than their previous work.

Probably. But once he'd cut ties with Courtney and finally moved on, I think I could see an uplift in their stuff. I think you're right that the next proper album would have been darker. It's the one after and then the one after that one where I can imagine what these dudes are talking about.

Precisely. As the early-aughts pop landscape took over, had Nirvana stayed active, I have to think they'd have done their own version of pop music.

Yeah, I kind of am. I think it could have been really fun and subversive.

Love Turnaround, but Seasons should have won the CC tournament...

Unanimous over here.
