It's a fun song. Different than what we're used to with Nirvana and done well. The drumming in particular is infectious. Faithful cover, but Kurt's guitars can't help but wail and moan throughout the song giving it that Nirvana feel. The spoken word middle is very quotable, too.Anders wrote:Don't see the appeal of Turnaround
Uh, have you guys heard YKYR? Pretty sure their next album would have been way darker and bleaker than their previous work.washing machine wrote:I've always thought their sound would have veered toward jangly REM and Vaselines territory, personally. Grunge new wave would have been fun, though.
Still, voting for Seasons. It's the better song. Hate to see Turnaround go.

Probably. But once he'd cut ties with Courtney and finally moved on, I think I could see an uplift in their stuff. I think you're right that the next proper album would have been darker. It's the one after and then the one after that one where I can imagine what these dudes are talking about.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Uh, have you guys heard YKYR? Precisely. As the early-aughts pop landscape took over, had Nirvana stayed active, I have to think they'd have done their own version of pop music.durdencommatyler wrote:Probably.
