TDITTL is just astonishing. Everything is great about it.

I really love both songs. I think I'll go with Drown.

These results are ridiculous.

How? Soundgarden is a fantastic band with perhaps the greatest frontman of their generation, matching Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins in every way. This song won the entire CC tournament.

SG is wildly overrated here and Cornell isn't the great frontman RM makes him out to be. SP is a far superior band.

I dont mind TDITTL winning this. Its a great song. Its just the gap that annoys me.

I disagree. I like SP, and listen to them a fair bit, but I think Soundgarden is the better band.

If nothing else, this tournament has reinforced the idea in me that SP, in their prime, were just head-and-shoulders above the rest of these bands

Wow. I can't express how strongly I disagree with that statement. I always found SP to be inferior to the other 5 bands in this tourney.

And Corgan's voice is by far the worst.

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the same. I still like PJ and STP more personally, but in terms of composition, musicianship, sonic texture, etc., SP is on another level.
