As we approach the end of round I, and have re-familiarized ourselves with a lot of old friends, it's time we have a very serious conversation.

Who was the best drummer of the best of grunge drummers?

For my money it was easily Jimmy Chamberlin. In fact, the Pumpkins are one of the only bands where I regularly make a point to stop and listen to the drumming

Singer: I've always really liked Kurt's voice and singing, even though I've fallen out of love with the songs themselves

I prefer Dave A's feel to any of these guys however Matt Cameron blew my mind back in the 90s. He was like a Bonham-esque player to me, larger than any band could handle.

I have no arguments with Chamberlin but he didn't amaze me like Dave A and Cameron.
