i like both quite a bit, but there is something singular about all apologies that makes it a lot more compelling

Sex Type Thing is a good song that I never seek out anymore. It's one of maybe just a couple STP songs I'm burned out on. All Apologies is pretty great.

Sex Type Thing is a phenomenal song. All Apologies is also great. But I'm happily voting Sex Type Thing with no hesitation.

"Dead & Bloated" and "Sex Type Thing" are a really interesting intro to Weiland, IMO. Both subtly vulnerable, insecure songs that deal with fragile masculinity, dressed up in macho, ass-kicking rock riffage. Weiland was a unique voice, I think. Doesn't get his due.

Starting off your rock career with a one-two punch of:
1. Feeling like an emasculated failure of a man ("I am trampled on the sole of another man's shoes, guess I walk too softly")
2. An anti-rape song that examines toxic male entitlement and fragile masculinity
That both sound like beefy, headbanging anthems is pretty subversive, I'd say. Coming off like a seedy bro is kind part of the package that makes it so compelling.
