Oh man. I want to like this so much but based on how much I loved the series I dunno. It's got great actors and a great director but then you have expectations and they tend to be high.

I mean the answer is more of a sort of than a yes/no. They show a lot, but then it's a movie so of course they have to: You can't rely on the prose to make it up in your head.
The audiobooks are really well done if you want to go that route. I'd rather they got Oscar Isaac to play Authority but I take what I can.
