Black Dog is so overdone for me, at this point. It's kinda like Alive or Evenflow. Great song, I just don't seek it out.

As I've said before Fool is my personal favorite song of all time.
Self is exactly right - Black Dog is the Even Flow of their catalogue. Fantastic, band-defining and I never need to hear it again.

I'd say the same about "Black Dog." I would have voted for it if it wasn't up against a song that I didn't also think was excellent, but in this matchup its overfamiliarity is a strike against it.

Black Dog is a goddamn rock powerhouse. It is so oddly off kilter; Bonham's drums are fucking BIZARRE. The whole song is just...OFF. And weird. I love it so much.

I’ll be sad to see Fool in the Rain get knocked out. For me, it’s by far the more enjoyable listen of two songs in this match, and I think a bit underrated by RM.
