I'm sure it has been discussed ad nauseam, but could I get the Cliffnotes version: Is Fenway a good place to see a Pearl Jam concert?

I was on the field last time and it was a lot of fun. Tough to see, though--ended up watching the monitors a lot, which didn't feel rock 'n' roll.

It's good in that you feel like you are attending a "big time event." Lotts of good people, cool vibes, lots of weed, etc.
Still, not great acoustics or sight lines. Park is also decaying - it's very old. Still, I'll be at one of these shows.

I was on the field last time and was pleasantly surprised with how good it sounded from where I was.

That's because they used Sonos soundbars at that gig.

Hopefully I can get on the field for both shows, but the way the tickets are set up this time that seems like a real long shot.

Yeah, I had pretty good field seats last time (as good as they could be--off to the side the sight lines were meh), and have no doubt I'll be pushed back or up into the seats this time.
