I'm fine if he is like a JJ Abrams LOST-like presence. Helps with the pilot and the overall shape of the series but hands it off to different showrunners after the start.

Sounds like good news to me. He did make Iron Man.

Elf is a classic and The Jungle Book was surprising great. He's fine by me.

HE also wrote (and directed?) Chef which was a wonderful film.

Exactly. And he's a huge fan. And he's voiced characters on The Clone Wars. I feel like he probably gets and appreciates what it's all about.

He’s a lifelong Star Wars fan and there’s even an R2 reference in iron man 2. As ButtLips said he has voiced characters in Star Wars and even in the new Solo movie.

All that is trivia. He’s competent well liked capable and a fan.
