what do you prefer?

lately i prefer the audience recordings before the official boots era!

please recommend me some good recordings from 95-98!

I prefer audience boots, since the crowd has been basically eliminated from official boots except when expected, like in the beginning of Betterman. But I listen to recreate the concert experience, not to give a detailed analysis of the performance.

I agree to the extent that on shows I was not at, I want to be transported there, and the audience recordings do the best job of that. When it comes to a show I attended, I prefer the official bootleg because it is easier to be mentally brought back to that place, and I want to hear the best quality show I can. I do wish that the audience would be higher in the mix for them though.
