App/task killers are total hogwash.

Having a shitton of apps open generally has little to no effect on performance.

Both Android and iOS are designed to have several apps opened at the same time and in many case using an app killer will have a negative impact on performance.

I see. Well, I don't use one because I don't have 90 apps on my phone.

If you have an iPhone, a simple understanding of how many apps make up the grid on a page times how many pages you have should make the task almost effortless, assuming you use folders in a consistent way.

65 and a high percentage of those came with the phone and I never use them.

I don't really think you hate your phone. I was just making a crack about you disabling the things your phone came with. Someone took a lot of thought and time designing those for us, but we all treat them like so much digital debris. It's sad when you think about it.

My phone has 4 Gb of RAM. Looks like my average use of that is about half.
I am counting apps that came with but I've disabled as well as those I can't disable.
