How many apps are on your phone?

I have something like 75. Blew my mind when I counted them. I actually use most of them too.
App/task killers are total hogwash.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Seriously. That will slow it down considerably unless you are using an app killer
I see. Well, I don't use one because I don't have 90 apps on my phone.run2death wrote:App/task killers are total hogwash.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Seriously. That will slow it down considerably unless you are using an app killer
Having a shitton of apps open generally has little to no effect on performance.
Both Android and iOS are designed to have several apps opened at the same time and in many case using an app killer will have a negative impact on performance.
Yeah, me too. That's what prompted this thread. Someone at work asked me and I blew my own mind.theplatypus wrote:Before looking I would've guessed closer to 18.
If you have an iPhone, a simple understanding of how many apps make up the grid on a page times how many pages you have should make the task almost effortless, assuming you use folders in a consistent way.Kaius wrote:I can’t even muster the will the count my apps.

65 and a high percentage of those came with the phone and I never use them.washing machine wrote:Just trying to get ahead.Kaius wrote:You’re very pushy sometimes.washing machine wrote:If you have an iPhone, a simple understanding of how many apps make up the grid on a page times how many pages you have should make the task almost effortless, assuming you use folders in a consistent way.Kaius wrote:I can’t even muster the will the count my apps.
I mean, I use all the apps I have. What am I missing?washing machine wrote:Why do you hate your phone so much?
I don't really think you hate your phone. I was just making a crack about you disabling the things your phone came with. Someone took a lot of thought and time designing those for us, but we all treat them like so much digital debris. It's sad when you think about it.E.H. My phone has 4 Gb of RAM. Looks like my average use of that is about half.96583UP wrote:how much memory do you have on your phone / free? that sounds crippling
