Rise - TV show on NBC

Pilot episode, just flipped on, was actually watching something else on Fire TV and was on when I shut the Fire off - student choir was singing “Just Breathe”
Not sure what the show is, seems like it has a little Glee vibe to it, has Ted from How I Met Your Mother

I don’t often hear PJ music on the TV, not even on Idol or other similar...got excited. Sorry you’re not impressed.

chad is sensing that this TCB13 person might run off an impressive streak of 49,000 posts this week and is fearing for his #1 spot thus the dickhole response discouraging TCB13 from ever coming back

I'm actually excited for Rise. It looks like Friday Night Lights but about high school theater. Oh and Josh Radnor is in it. So, yeah, I'll check it out. The inclusion of a Pearl Jam song only gets me more excited to see it.

Just Breathe has quietly become one of PJ's best known songs over the decade. I believe it's their best selling song in the US.

Because it's a beautiful, genre-crossing, heartfelt love song with good lyrics that's played well.

Yeah, it's a good song. The SNL version in particular is quite lovely.
