I've never had the pulse on what's currently popular. From my field of view, Jack White is the hottest act I can think to see right now, but I have no clue how hip he is to the kids these days.

Bands or artists? Most big acts seem to be solo these days. It’s probably Beyonce.

I would say Guns N Roses probably they have been playing huge stadiums for 3 years now...PJ is pretty big too. U2 maybe?

Just in terms of touring and the places they sell. Im sure there are bigger or more relevant artists in the US but their tours are not that big overseas.

I dont think bands are very popular at all anymore.

But, uh, u2 and arcade fire probably. oh and that shit imagine dragons.

As far as bands, Coldplay has somehow managed to stay relevant across generations. Doing that song with the Chainsmokers probably helped

Arcade Fire had a very rough year. I wouldnt say they are that big really.

yeah, if i had to guess, it'd probably be Imagine Dragons or Twenty One Pilots

but like you said, bands aren't big anymore/right now. it's all about solo acts.

Arcade Fire was having trouble selling half the tickets on their last tour. They definitely aren’t in the conversation for biggest band currently. Imagine Dragons is probably the correct answer. Ugh.

I had a discussion about the failure of modern rock bands and artist to be the big next thing...thats why we have GNR and U2 in the same spot that 20 years ago basically.
Hip Hop artists are huge in the us but they cant seem to get going overseas...and the same with pop artists. Huge tours in the us but not the same scope in other countries.
