Generations 1 and 3 are missing because these generations did not have handhelds that took interchangeable cartridges.

Gameboy Color, still works 20 years later.
I got a Gameboy Advance SP again last year with Super Mario Bros 3 and Pokemon Leaf Green.

I agree about the Switch. It's a console. If it has separate controllers it is a console.
