Red Mosquito

For Nintendo only, no one gives a fuck about Pokemon Go anymore.

Has anyone here ever managed to finish a Pokedex in one of these games? I had to figure out how to use the "Mew Glitch" to get 151 in the original Blue, but I did do it finally about 5 or 6 years ago.

I have never played a Pokemon game.

Grade school? Jesus...I remember playing R/B/Y with my wife on the N64 using Pokémon Stadium.

I was in 7th grade when Red and Blue came to the states, so I guess middle school.

I was 7 in 1998, so I was smack dab in the target audience for Pokemon mania in the late 1990's.

I never cared for anything that came after Gold/Silver/Crystal though and I doubt I ever will check further into it.

Never completed a pokedex, no. I was more about grinding levels than catching them shits.

I was a Blue and Silver guy myself. What about y'all?

Yeah, I like the games but my need to max the dudes out makes it hard to play. I was Blue/yellow, never got past those. My son has the GBA remakes of Red/Green (blue here) and he plays them a bit.

The difficulty of completing a pokedex is another thing that keeps me from playing anymore. There's so many.

If you have the patience, you can get all 151 on a single copy of Red/Blue, you just have to use something referred to as the Mew Glitch.

I'll let you guys look that one up yourselves if you're interested, it's extremely complicated but it makes for an entirely new style of gameplay and catching Pokemon. I liked it because I was able to get Mew, Gengar, Alakazam and a couple other stupidly high powered Pokemon before Vermilion (I think, it's been half a decade since I did this). After that, you just stomp the competition.

There’s still activity all around me where I work. I check the gyms periodically and they change teams often. Also, I have three bartenders who constantly keep it open on their phones because our bar is across from a stop.

I start and stop. It keeps my interest for a couple months then I get bored with it.

Will not buy unless they replicate the Mew Glitch in it.
