New Year's Day is still a pretty bad ass song. So much better than Sunday Bloody Sunday. Never cared much for Wake Up Dead Man, which is self indulgent without the fantastic charm of the best songs on Pop.

War was one of the first albums by any band that I fell in love with. I'll probably always vote for one of those songs.

The yell at the opening of "New Year's Day" is still one of those moments in a song that makes the hair on my arms stand up a little. It's on every road trip mix I make just so I can yell along in the solitude of my own car.
