Man I love God Part II

God Part II is really good, but City of Blinding Lights is maybe the last truly great U2 song. It gets my vote

God Part II is a new discovery for me. I can’t believe I’ve never heard this one before. It’s either that or I don’t remember it... and I think I’d remember this song. I liked it very much. I’ll definitely be giving that one a few more listens.

City of Blinding Lights is extremely familiar, and a very strong song, even if it may not be truly top tier U2. I don’t think I’m familiar enough with God Part II to vote for it over City, but this is close.

This is really close.

Blinding Lights is one of the last great U2 songs but it does sort of have 'paint by numbers' U2 feel. Like, the first time you heard it you weren't really sure if maybe it was just some new mix of Where the Streets Had No Name or something.

God Part II is is more unique within the catalog and so very narrowly gets my vote.

Guys don’t screw this up. Blinding lights all the way.
