Attending. Can probably trade extra 10c ticket to London (113xxx) for 10c to this one.

Let's hope this guy sits behind Matt at the Wrigley show.

Though I am excited about this show, my PJ-driven cynicism predicts this will have a bigger backlash than the PJ20 weekend did. So many people really expect them to jam out a rarity heavy hour long acoustic set at a Friday night concert in a baseball stadium in front of ten's of thousands of drunk casual fans. Just too much hype on this one for them to live up to at this point.

Negative Nancys ITT.

Its Pearl Jam. They are playing at Wrigley Field. It should be pretty great.

If you think this one is going to be a deep-cuts fest, I don't see that happening. It should be a really fun night full of rockers and sing-alongs.

The backlash will be from the fans who have let their expectations get out of control for this one, we're just trying to keep it real, yo.

this. i am tempering my expectations to avoid the disappointment. i might just approach this show like ed will: get insanely drunk and party all night.
i just booked my hotel so i don’t have to worry about driving and/or train home, so i am a little more excited now.

Are you staying close to Wrigley? I am staying at the Conrad in the Loop (yeah for Hilton points!), so as of now I'll be red lining it back and forth, but would be open to splitting a car rental with anyone staying just north of the river.

Sounds like there are going to be a ton of drunk people walking around Wrigley with lots of cash on the 19th. Business Opportunity for anyone with a online printed ticket and a photocopier.

isn't that true of any high demand event these days? not sure why any person would ever scalp an online ticket.

the crowd for this show is going to suck hard. drunk 30-40 somethings screaming for Jeremy, with whored out trixies on their arm + the generaly douche bag community of wrigleyviile/lincoln park/lakeview. i just hope i am spared the riff raff once we get to our seats and during the show. not likely though.

Based on resale value for the tickets, I don't know how anyone could assume this will be anything but hardcore fans.

If I were a casual fan of a band, and had tix that would resale for what these are, I would sell them immediately.
