Romance is always clumsily done in SW. It was kinda charming in the OT, but since then it's just been all cringy AF.

I mean the prequels are bad movies, but almost everyone recognizes them as bad movies so I don't need to apologize for them.
There is a lot of star wars branded crap, but it doesn't pass itself off as anything but so it's fine. I don't know that anything really makes me ashamed. Maybe some of the toxic fan culture around it
