I mostly appreciate Slipknot's total commitment to their schtick.

DWTS quite easily. It sounded ground-breaking to me when I first heard it. And this is a pretty weak Slipknot song imo.

That Disturbed song is like the banner song for this era. I don’t like it at all. But, it still gets my vote.

Gross matchup. I'm voting for the Slipknot song because it doesn't have that idiotic parrot sound and doesn't have the same initials as "Dancing With the Stars."

I probably woulda voted for any other of the famous slip tunes but spit it out is my least favorite

Two bands I was an adamant fan of in middle school that I pretty much hate now.

Slipknot is shit and Disturbed is shit too.

Down with the Sickness' bridge is fucking hilarious as fuck though, so that. "NEVER SMACK ME IN MY FACE AGAIN BITCH! FUCK YOU!!!"

This one was legitimately hard to pick. I watched the Disturbed video first and just the way they take themselves so seriously was hilarious (not to mention the guy's fucking delivery and all of those noises). I thought there was no way I could vote for that...but, man, that Slipknot song is waaaay worse than I can remember. I forgot that lots of white guys in these bands thought "rapping" just meant singing and rhyming as fast as you fucking can. The production quality on that video was also horrendous--"Hey, we can't take the time to shoot video footage of us that might match the song for the video...let's just do slow motion." Disturbed it is, I guess.

Is the music video censored or radio edited for either of these?

They make a lot funnier of an impression with all the swear laden parts, most specifically Down with the Sickness.

It really is the song I think of when I think "nu metal". It's a horrible song, so it should probably win this whole thing

Spit It Out cause it made me giggle and it was kinda fun. I kinda liked the guys voice in DWTS when he wasn't being stupid, but overall a very cringey song for me.

This is a hard one, because they're both pretty bad. I think I'm gonna have to give the slight edge to Slipknot because I've not heard the song before, and I really despise "Down with the Sickness."
