Like, why is this song so much better than Inside Job?

Probably the worst band to ever exist.

This thread is probably a schtick but I support the OP.

This is an unfair mockery for at least two reasons. Maybe more.

1. 311 peaked with Transistor. Come Original was the beginning of the end and it's ripe for mockery, but this post ignores the purity of their earlier work mentioned in the OP.
2. Black Eyed Peas were pretty unknown at the time of that song, so Hex and the crew kind of had a point.
3.

Reid has recently come out as an ardent defender of both Sublime and 311 and I'm kind of into it

I fell in with some smelly potsmokers my freshman year of college (my only year of college). They were convinced that 311 was the second coming of Christ. I couldn't stand them at first, but they grew on me a bit and their music is associated with a lot of great memories. Pretty good live, too.

They are so cheesy, but they own it.

I’ve spent my entire adult life cultivating tastes and opinions that help me forget the fact that I was the kid in high school with a locker door absolutely graffiti’d with those band’s names framing a sticker of Kyle from South Park.

This song always makes me laugh. Most unintentionally sexual lyrics ever. Or maybe not. But I like to believe that "in your face, and down your throat, feels so good" didn't come out the way they intended.

Love it though

I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but the most hurt I ever got at a concert was 311. Went into the mosh pit and immediately got punched in the face.

I like to think that Nick Hexum and MCA are sitting in heaven right now talking about Bodhisattva stuff. RIP

Investigate 311!

Y’all need to get hip to the Eric Andre Show.

Doesn't 311 mean KKK? 3 11th letters of the alphabet...
