gonna go with LP here. i have no patience for Korn.

"Blind" is not only a stone-cold classic, but it is the first Nu Metal song. It all started here, folks.

Holy fucking shit that KoRn song is boring. This is a round with two big songs -- a big "classic" and a big pop hit -- and they both kind of suck

Crawling is a fucking meme song, get that whiny bullshit out of here.

"Blind" is exactly as whiny as "Crawling"

You know what, I'm gonna go ahead and vote for "Crawling" because at least the verses have some color, some texture, and a discernible melody, as opposed to just downtuned chugga-chugga guitars. KoRn got much better at this kind of thing with later albums.

Korn. That's a pretty good intro. It's only down from there but still.

This is the hardest match for me so far. Two nu-metal tournament juggernauts vying for supremacy with two iconic songs that embody all the rawest cliches of their respective styles.

I'm voting for Korn. I just can't vote for Linkin Park. At the end of the day, aggro-whininess is my least favorite musical trait of all-time, and no one is more aggro-whiny than Linkin Park.

I don't know, all of the later (post 1996 or so) Korn material in this tournament sounds like they largely discarded the interesting things about their sound. The early material chugs, but it's chugging in a way that was pretty unique at the time.



Super easy vote for Blind here, one of the better songs in this tournament.

The first KoRn album will always be their only classic album. Loved this from the first time I heard it.

I don’t understand the level of LP hate in this particular setting. (closet super fan alert!)

“Blind” was very original and “kewl” in middle school. My god the memories flooding in.

“Crawling” gets my vote. Raw emotion. In every instrument and Chesters voice especially.

Both of these songs are great. I hated LP the first time around, but I came around on a few of their tunes. Chester really belts this one out.
