Linkin Park - "Faint"

I always got "Faint" and Brittney Spear's "Toxic" confused

"Faint" has a cool intro but the song is...well, Linkin Park. AIB isn't my favorite Korn but it's the clear winner here.

I should vote against Linkin for beating Cowboy, but the Korn song kinda sucks.

Pretty weak Korn tune.

Hilariously awful Linkin Park tune though. "YOU'RE GONNA LISTEN TO ME LIKE IT OR NOT RIGHT NOW!" part makes me laugh my ass off, it's "One Step Closer Part 2" for that line.

"Faint" really isn't that bad. The lyrics kill it though.

I've heard "Alone I Break" in the past, but never paid it much attention. Listening now, I actually rather like it. It's got a nice mellow vibe with some cool note bending going on near the choruses and in the bridge, and I like the hip-hop beat in the verses. I'm not surprised that this is from Untouchables since it doesn't have the level of textural exploration that the band engaged in on the first few albums, but this is probably one of the most legitimately enjoyable Korn songs for me on an actual songwriting level.

"Faint" is a good deal less annoying than a lot of Linkin Park's big singles, at least until it gets to Chester's parts in the choruses. Then it gets to the ear-stabbing point again and I want to shut the damn thing off.

Korn easily wins again.

I actually like Chester's screaming parts in the bridge. Its really the only section of music I like by that band.

This is yet another one of those unremarkable Korn songs after they became really dull but it's still not Linkin Park, so.
