I found this in a used book shop yesterday and gave it to my oldest. You'd think he won the lotto!

I used to have a couple of those but they were Star Trek. I still remember that stupid Jeffries Tube.

Since I was a little kid, Raiders has been my favorite movie. The Indy series (minus 4 of course) is my favorite damn thing.

Me too. I wanted to be the female Indiana Jones.

I only recently learned that the guy in Last Crusade who gives him the hat is supposed to be Marion’s dad.

So I guess in the first movie the story is that he is a college professor who snatched up his friend’s daughter and ruined her life, and in the third one it turns out they weren’t friends and she just couldn’t not fuck a guy who looked like her dad.

Real Talk: Indy 4 isn't even that bad. It's really the vfx and Mutt that hurt it. I'd probably rank it last in the franchise but only just.

A release-era tv interview with George Lucas. I don’t think they credit him that way in the final movie, but it appears to have been one of those “let’s just change this and not mention it to George” stories.

Go in with the right attitude and it's fun. Just like the other Indy films, it's an dumb adventure movie with some really cool scenes and some really dumb things.

I don't think any of them are dumb movies at all. But there are definitely some very dumb things in 4.
