I really liked a few songs off "Gimme Fiction," but this band never really got their hooks into me.

Yup.

And, to me, Ga Ga Ga was a step down from what came before it, as well. I'm nervously awaiting signs that Spoon will fall as hard as Belle and Sebastian.

I loved Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga as well. That's why I was so suprised as just how vanilla and mediocre Transference sounded. It was almost as if they were rushed to get it released so BD could focus on his side projects.
