Confession: I played "Addicted" at a high school talent show at the behest of our bassist/singer, who wanted to dedicate it to his new girlfriend. That guitar line is pretty hard to play while jumping around, which our bassist also insisted we do.

Simple Plan is pop-punk for 7 year olds.

Sell Out is the song that got me into RBF and by extension into Ska proper. I hope that Less Than Jake pops up in another round.

And yeah, that pun was not intended. It's terrible if it was.

Gathering songs for this tournament, I was disappointed to find out that there really weren't that many ska hits during this time period-- or at least as many as I thought. For this reason, I am glad "Sell Out" is already moving forward.

Yeah I played it in a bar band back when and I remember the guitar part being fun to play.

terrible songs, but nothing is more bland and forgettable than Simple Plan.
