Hit or Miss is like the one New Found Glory song I do kind of like.
No idea what Konstantine even is, never heard it before.

9 minutes. amazing. Anyone willing to subject their audience to that much torture deserves a vote. I'm afraid of what they will do if they lose.

Vote for new found glory i guess, cause they bothered to put the punk in their pop-punk song. 9.5 fucking minutes of whiny drivel are you serious? i couldn't even scrub through that awful drek.

Why did you pick a song that was only released in Japan?
"Konstantine" is a song by alternative rock band Something Corporate. The song is the third track of their album Songs for Silent Movies, which was only released in Japan.

Chud suggested it and then Kevin Davis called it "the whiniest emo song ever", and that was enough for me.
Honestly, my biggest regret in this entire tournament is not researching Something Corporate more. I would've included "If You C Jordan" because it is their biggest hit and we could've referenced LV a lot. By the time I realized "Konstantine" wasn't any sort of hit, it was already too late.

To be fair, "Konstantine" does come up as the top result when you google "something corporate most famous songs"

I actually bought their first album so every time someone talks calls him Jordan the song pops in my head, that's the reason I wondered at the choice.

I used to IM with a girl who sent me "Konstantine" in a mix one time, "because you like all those really long Bob Dylan songs."
I'm voting for it because it namedrops Jimmy Eat World. Emo bands giving shout outs to other emo bands is charming to me -- reminds me of all the emo kids I knew whose deepest knowledge of music history was the stuff that sounded exactly like the stuff they listened to but came out 4-5 years ago and was therefore "vintage."

A live version of Konstantine was included as a bonus track on their first album "ready... break" the studio version was actually released by the band on mp3.com in 2001 and subsequently the Drive-Thru comp "Welcome to the Family" later that year.

Konstantine was HUGE among my emo friends in the early aughts. And when I saw Something Corporate live it definitely got the biggest response.

Isn't that what you said what you thought the song meant?

Same and same.
Voted for NFG because, well, that's what I'm here for.
