I don't think Flagpole Sitta fits this tournament very well, even though I same them on the same bill as Fenix TX.

I really think it does. It's got the sound and attitude. And it was on the American Pie soundtrack!

If he doesn't already, Trag might be interested to know that the guy from Jesus Lizard directed the music video for "All I Want"

"Flagpole Sitta" grates. "All I Want" is probably the last major Offspring single I really liked (I can't remember what all the singles from "Ixnay on the Hombre" were).

Crazy fucking Taxi.
Offspring, and I actually like that other song that was in every late 90's comedy soundtrack kind of.

Fun-ish fact about "All I Want": it was written around the time of Smash for a competition among the Epitaph bands to see who could write the best Bad Religion approximation. Bad Religion would record the winning song. It was originally titled "Protocol". Apparently Bad Religion didn't like any of the submitted songs. Both bands left Epitaph soon after.

Makes even more sense that the Crazy Taxi soundtrack is strictly Bad Religion and Offspring songs now.

whoa, that explains a LOT. i hadn't heard this song since probably the late nineties but listening again i thought it sounded like a BR song...and then you dropped this knowledge bomb
Hard to believe that this record came out a year before Americana.

Yeah, they talked about that in some interview I read during my fandom years.
