Michael Franti & Spearhead. I am seeing them for the 5th or 6th time next month. Great live. Albums full of songs that are mostly easy to listen to. I really learned about them upon the release of Stay Human in 2001 and have enjoyed them ever since.

"Carried to Dust" (2008) is probably my favorite album by them -- either that or "Feast of Wire." I haven't disliked any of them, though.

The album between those was where I got off. Feast Of Wire and the Even My Sure Things ep were fantastic but Hot Rail tickles my itch.
