The Offspring got me into punk when I was 12, but by the time this album had come out, I was already "savvy" (meaning I'd read a bunch of stuff on the internet about "punk music" and had bought one or two punk albums that weren't by Offspring or Green Day). I remember being very bothered at the time that "Want You Bad" sounded a lot like "Coolidge" by The Descendants, which I thought was a much better song. This may have been the first negative thought I ever had about The Offspring, who had been my first favorite rock band.

The Offspring song isn’t horrible but Fat Lip is pop punk.

Fat Lip is so bad, but I still remember me and my cousin jumping around to it at age 11 at some family gathering. The other is bottom of the barrel Offspring shlock.
