A pile of stuff on the landing for Dar.ren to take up to his room.
He grabs it all.
I observe and instruct, "oh--your band shoes--put them with your band stuff. ...and those cards --(for his 17th birthday)--put them with your sentimental stuff..."
"I'll put them in my underwear drawer" he says and ascends
