There's not a thread for this band. There's a thread for their umpteenth album Fade, which is a great album, but no one ever decided to start a dedicated band thread. So here you go.

i return most often to fade, summer sun, and then nothing turned itself inside out, and i am not afraid and i will beat your ass, though the precise locus of each's power - and hence the ability to suitably arrange them into a satisfactory hierarchy - remains for me quite elusive

yeah, i know. i had just sort of fallen off when that came out and haven't doubled back to it yet.

There’s a Riot Goin’ On is atmospheric and strummy as hell, even for this most atmospheric of bands.

Dare I say it scratches an oft-ignored Sung Tongs itch for me?

I've never agreed with this, although Painful is quite good.
