This seems deserving of its own thread.

Just got tickets for opening night. Really looking forward to it.

So this movie pretends Halloween II and other sequels didn't happen, correct? Just a direct sequel, 40 years later?

Yep, pretty much. They've scrapped the whole 'Michael and Laurie are siblings' rubbish.

There is a good chance the movie is good now right? Considering LV´s hatred to anything thats not directed by Joel Schumacher or Michael Bay.
