There weren’t 10 memorably good movies released this year.

1. Leave No Trace
2. Annihilation
3. Sicario 2: Electric Bugaloo
4. Avengers
5. A Quiet Place I guess

I'm reaching. But I have only watched a handful of movies this year.

Oh yeah, I saw that one and it was garbage. The last one I saw before that was Ragnarok, which was also garbage. I try to avoid them for the most part because I know I won’t enjoy them.

Peppermint was still worse.

Black Panther was fine for a Marvel. Not really sure why it got such rave reviews outside of the casting.

There have been exactly two good MCU movies: Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

But there's just so much I haven't seen this year. I'm really confident on my top 5. I loved all of those movies. After that it's much more difficult.
