The Housemaid (the original from 1960). I fucking hate the twist ending.

Canto Bight. It’s utterly pointless other than to set up broomkid. Which could have been done a million other ways and infinitely more elegantly. It’s atrocious as a scene and drags down the entire film

oh yeah canto bight is awful and it was so fucking expensive too. I guess it also there because Finn and Rose had to do something.

In Signs there is a scene where they found a book and everyone is outside sans the brother. And it doesnt happen that way in the end. I hated that.

I've mentioned this before, but there are a couple of scenes in Magnolia where the music is too loud and you can't hear the dialogue.

I like Canto Bight. It's a little long (I'd cut it down by a quarter), but it serves an important function thematically

I watched a really cool movie called reign of fire last night. Just a popcorn flick on the surface
But Christian bale and Matthew mccaunaghay.

The dialogue was whispered but the score was so overbearing I turned it off.

One scene or sequence never really ruins a movie for me.

Canto Bight has some redeeming qualities, but the way it was done in TLJ, both thematically, the acting, its length, and as a part of the overall plot and story, is dreadful. A shame, if it was turned upside down (more grit, larger part of the plot, less cartoonish action), then it could have worked.

Ehh the entire premise of Signs fails.

Aliens lethally allergic to water come to a planet predominantly covered in water.

Maybe they didn't know they were allergic to water?
